Field Church is ruled by King Jesus and prayerfully led by a plurality of what the Bible calls elders. These elders care for, correct, teach, lead, help, champion, defend, equip, pray for, guard, serve and LOVE the assembly over which God has appointed them as overseers. We believe women's roles are traditionally and tragically underplayed to the church's detriment. The ministry of Jesus and the early church was seasoned throughout by the leadership of Godly men AND women. The ministry of our elders is inseparable from their wives. Their wives, as their helpers and advisors, are a perfect fit to also be helpers, advisors and leaders to the church God is calling them to plant.

Fraser Armstrong (Teaching Elder): 1 Timothy 1:15-16 This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them. 16 But I received mercy for this reason, so that in me, the worst of them, Christ Jesus might demonstrate his extraordinary patience as an example to those who would believe in him for eternal life.
